The first full week of school is now underway, and I have decided that creating a blog for our classroom will be a good way to keep in touch with parents, and a good way to keep our memories alive in the classroom. As well, students can keep track of what we did, and what we will do. I encourage parents and students to leave comments, and to contribute to this blog.
Our seating arrangement and desk layout attempts to give each student a good view of the teacher and blackboard. We want to have a beautiful classroom! No garbage on the floor, and no writing on the tables.

I try to teach the students how to sit like good students: back straight, hands together, eyes on the teacher, and great big smiles.:)
Below, you will also see our new sticker chart. This provides an incentive for students to study hard, behave in class, write in their English journals, and finish their homework. Students can earn snacks from the cafeteria, pens and pencils, small toys, and other rewards for their efforts.
Break-tim e is a good way for students to burn up extra energy that might dis tract them from study. Good job guys! Very good foot skills yo u can use for soccer!

Finally, I would like to introduce you to our classroom mascot. Spiderman sings and dances for us when we need something to perk us up.
Thanks for visiting our classroom website. I will be updating this every week. Along with sending the weekly letter home, I will be posting it on this website in case students lose it. Along with the weekly letter, I will also include the week's "Daily English" list, and the spelling words for the weekly test.
Next week, we will begin to make our classroom even more beautiful. If parents would like to donate plants, we would appreciate it. We are learning about plants in Science at the moment. As well, we are thinking about getting a pet for our classroom. Students are asking for a puppy...but I think something smaller and easier to look after is a better idea. Maybe a great big spider or a snake....or a turtle or praying mantis.
Here is this weeks Daily English study list:
1. Excuse me, can you tell me how to get to the post office?
2. I lost my handphone. Can you help me find it?
3. What kind of music do you like?
4. I'm going to go shopping next weekend.
5. I went to the beach last weekend.
6. Always wash your hands before dinner.
7. Never bite your finger nails.
8. Try to make your bed every morning.
9. Eat lots of fruit and vegetables.
10. An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

Hello I think this is the only way I can contact you but I was wondering if I could use an Image of Shrek that I believe is yours on Google. My little sister really wants a Shrek sweater and I couldn't find one that matched her wishes so I thought I'd make her one. Your image worked perfectly so I was wondering if I could use it for the sweater. I am only making one sweater so I assure you I am not selling any. Thank You.
